| The Coryell County Sheriff's Office chain of
command begins with Sheriff Johnny Burks and progresses down to the
Chief Deputy then to the Division Commanders, Sergeants and
Corporals then to every employee. There are two distinct organizational structures at the Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office and Jail organizational structure and the Critical Incident organizational structure. The Sheriff's Office and Jail organizational structure is the day to day operations chain of command. In times of a critical incident such as active shooter, hostage situation, natural disaster, etc. This chain of command is utilized.
